أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سَلْمٍ حَدَّثَنَا حَرْمَلَةُ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ أَخْبَرَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ الْحَارِثِ أَنَّ أَبَا عُشَّانَةَ حَدَّثَهُ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ عُقْبَةَ بْنَ عَامِرٍ يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ «الْقَاعِدُ عَلَى الصَّلَاةِ كَالْقَانِتِ وَيُكْتَبُ مِنَ الْمُصَلِّينَ مِنْ حِينِ يَخْرُجُ مِنْ بَيْتِهِ حَتَّى يَرْجِعَ إِلَى بَيْتِهِ»
English Translation
Hadrat Uqbah ibn Amir (may Allah be well pleased with him) narrated from the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) who stated: "The one who sits waiting for the prayer is like the one who is devoutly obedient in prayer, and he is written among the worshippers from the time he leaves his house until he returns to it."
Urdu Translation
حضرت عقبہ بن عامر رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا: "نماز کا انتظار کرنے والا اس شخص کی مانند ہے جو نماز میں قنوت (عبادت) کر رہا ہو اور وہ اپنے گھر سے نکلنے سے لے کر واپس آنے تک نمازیوں میں لکھا جاتا ہے۔"
