English Translation
Al-Husayn ibn Idris al-Ansari informed us in Dimashq, saying: Abu Mashar narrated to us, saying: Bakr ibn Mudar narrated to us from Amr ibn al-Harith from Sa'id ibn Abi Hilal that he heard Abu al-Khayr that he heard Uqbah ibn Amir say: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: 'Your Lord is pleased with a shepherd on the peak of a mountain who makes the call to prayer and prays. Allah the Exalted says: Look at My servant, he makes the call to prayer and establishes the prayer, fearing Me. I have forgiven My servant and I have admitted him into Paradise.'
