English Translation

Abu Ya'la informed us, saying: Abu Khaythamah narrated to us, saying: Sufyan ibn Uyaynah narrated to us from Asim ibn Kulayyb from his father from Wa'il ibn Hujar, who said: 'I said: I will observe how the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) prays. So I saw him when he wanted to bow and when he wanted to raise his head from bowing, he raised his hands. When he sat, he placed his left hand on his left thigh and his right hand on his right thigh, and pointed with his forefinger like this, and he raised his forefinger.'
