English Translation
Anas ibn Malik said to us: 'I do not spare any effort to pray with you as I saw the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) pray with us.' Thabit said: I saw Anas ibn Malik do something I do not see you doing: when he raised his head from bowing, he stood until a person would say, 'He has surely forgotten'; and when he raised his head from the first prostration, he sat until a person would say, 'He has surely forgotten.'
