أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُمَرَ بْنِ يُوسُفَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ الْعَسْكَرِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ عَنْ شُعْبَةَ عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ الْمُسَيِّبَ بْنَ رَافِعٍ عَنْ تَمِيمِ بْنِ طَرَفَةَ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَنَّهُ دَخَلَ الْمَسْجِدَ فَأَبْصَرَ قَوْمًا قَدْ رَفَعُوا أَيْدِيهِمْ فَقَالَ «قَدْ رَفَعُوهَا كَأَنَّهَا أَذْنَابُ خَيْلٍ شُمْسٍ اسْكُنُوا فِي الصَّلَاةِ»
English Translation
Jabir ibn Samurah narrated from the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) that he entered the mosque and saw a group who had raised their hands, so he said: 'They have raised them as if they were tails of wild horses. Be still in prayer.'
