أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو خَلِيفَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ الطَّيَالِسِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ سِيرِينَ عَنْ صَفِيَّةَ بِنْتِ الْحَارِثِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «لَا يَقْبَلُ اللَّهُ صَلَاةَ حَائِضٍ إِلَّا بِخِمَارٍ»
English Translation
Al-Hasan bin Sufyan narrated to us. He said: Abu Bakr bin Abi Shaybah narrated to us. He said: Muhammad bin Bishr narrated to us. He said: Ismail bin Abi Khalid narrated to us from Amir from Usamah bin Zayd (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: We were with the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) when a messenger from one of his daughters came to him, calling him to her son who was dying. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Return and inform her that what Allah takes belongs to Him, and what He gives belongs to Him, and everything with Him has an appointed term. So let her be patient and seek reward." She sent to him again, swearing that he must come to her. So the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) stood up, and Sa'd bin Ubadah and Mu'adh bin Jabal stood up, and I was with them. When we entered, the child was brought to him while his soul was disturbed, and the Prophet's eyes overflowed with tears. Sa'd said to him: What is this, O Messenger of Allah? He said: "This is mercy that Allah has placed in the hearts of His servants. Allah only has mercy on the merciful among His servants."

ہمیں حسن بن سفیان نے خبر دی، انہوں نے کہا: ہمیں ابوبکر بن ابی شیبہ نے حدیث بیان کی، انہوں نے کہا: ہمیں محمد بن بشر نے حدیث بیان کی، انہوں نے کہا: ہمیں اسماعیل بن ابی خالد نے عامر سے، انہوں نے حضرت اسامہ بن زید رضی اللہ عنہما سے روایت کی، انہوں نے کہا: ہم نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے ساتھ تھے کہ آپ کی ایک بیٹی کا قاصد آیا اور آپ کو اپنے بیٹے کے پاس بلایا جو مر رہا تھا۔ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: "واپس جاؤ اور انہیں بتاؤ کہ جو اللہ لیتا ہے وہ اسی کا ہے، اور جو وہ دیتا ہے وہ اسی کا ہے، اور اس کے ہاں ہر چیز کا ایک وقت مقرر ہے۔ پس انہیں صبر کرنا چاہیے اور ثواب کی امید رکھنی چاہیے۔" انہوں نے دوبارہ قسم کھلا کر آپ کو بلایا کہ آپ ضرور آئیں۔ پس نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کھڑے ہوئے، اور سعد بن عبادہ اور معاذ بن جبل بھی کھڑے ہوئے، اور میں بھی ان کے ساتھ تھا۔ جب ہم داخل ہوئے تو بچے کو آپ کے پاس لایا گیا جبکہ اس کی جان پریشان تھی، اور نبی کریم کی آنکھوں سے آنسو بہہ نکلے۔ سعد نے ان سے کہا: یہ کیا ہے، یا رسول اللہ؟ آپ نے فرمایا: "یہ رحمت ہے جو اللہ نے اپنے بندوں کے دلوں میں رکھی ہے۔ اللہ اپنے بندوں میں سے صرف رحم دلوں پر رحم کرتا ہے۔"
