أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو خَلِيفَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْمُنْتَشِرِ عَنْ حَبِيبِ بْنِ سَالِمٍ عَنِ النُّعْمَانِ بْنِ بَشِيرٍ قَالَ «أَنَا أَعْلَمُ النَّاسِ بِوَقْتِ هَذِهِ الصَّلَاةِ يَعْنِي الْعِشَاءَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ يُصَلِّيهَا لِسُقُوطِ الْقَمَرِ لِثَالِثَةٍ»
English Translation
Al-Nu'man bin Bashir narrated: 'I am the most knowledgeable of people about the time of this prayer - meaning Isha. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to pray it when the moon set on the third night.'
