Arabic (Original)
إِنَّ أَفْضَلَ الدُّعَاءِ(الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ)، وَأَفْضَلَ الذِّكْرِ(لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ)
English Translation
The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "Indeed, the best supplication is 'All praise is due to Allah (Al-hamdu lillah),' and the best remembrance (dhikr) is 'There is no deity worthy of worship except Allah (La ilaha illallah).'"
Urdu Translation
آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا:”یقیناً افضل دعا«الحَمْدُ لِلَٰهِ»ہے اور سب سے افضل ذکر«لَا إِلٰهَ إِلَّا اللَٰهُ»ہے۔“[حسن، سنن ترمذي: 3383، سنن ابن ماجه: 3800، المستدرك للحاكم: 503/1ح1852][مختصر حصن المسلم/ابواب/حدیث: 273]
