حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ حَمْشَاذٍ ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ ثنا حَجَّاجُ بْنُ الْمِنْهَالِ ثنا حَمَّادٌ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سِيرِينَ عَنْ صَفِيَّةَ بِنْتِ الْحَارِثِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَنَّهُ قَالَ «لَا تُقْبَلُ صَلَاةُ حَائِضٍ إِلَّا بِخِمَارٍ» «هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحٌ عَلَى شَرْطِ مُسْلِمٍ وَلَمْ يُخَرِّجَاهُ وَأَظُنُّ أَنَّهُ لِخِلَافٍ فِيهِ عَلَى قَتَادَةَ» على شرط مسلم وعلته ابن أبي عروبة
English Translation
'Ali ibn Hamshadh narrated to us — 'Ali ibn 'Abd al-'Aziz narrated to us — Hajjaj ibn al-Minhal narrated to us — Hammad narrated to us — from Qatadah — from Muhammad ibn Sirin — from Safiyyah bint al-Harith — from Umm al-Mu'minin Hadrat 'A'ishah (may Allah be well pleased with her) — from the Beloved Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) who stated: 'The prayer of a girl who has reached puberty is not accepted without a headscarf.' This is a hadith whose chain is authentic according to the criterion of Muslim, yet they did not record it. I believe this is due to a disagreement regarding it from Qatadah. Its defect [in their view] is through Ibn Abi 'Arubah.

علی بن حمشاذ نے ہم سے بیان کیا — علی بن عبد العزیز نے ہم سے بیان کیا — حجاج بن المنہال نے ہم سے بیان کیا — حماد نے ہم سے بیان کیا — قتادہ سے — محمد بن سیرین سے — صفیہ بنت حارث سے — اُمّ المؤمنین حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہا سے — حضور نبی اکرم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم سے روایت ہے کہ آپ نے ارشاد فرمایا: 'بالغ عورت کی نماز بغیر دوپٹے کے قبول نہیں ہوتی۔' یہ حدیث مسلم کی شرط پر صحیح ہے مگر انہوں نے اسے روایت نہیں کیا۔ میرا خیال ہے کہ اس کی وجہ قتادہ سے اختلاف ہے۔ اس کی علت ابن ابی عروبہ کی طرف سے ہے۔
