حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ أَنْبَأَ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْحَكَمِ أَنْبَأَ ابْنُ وَهْبٍ أَخْبَرَنِي يَحْيَى بْنُ أَيُّوبَ عَنْ زَبَّانَ بْنِ فَائِدٍ عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ مُعَاذِ بْنِ أَنَسٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ لَا تَزَالُ الْأُمَّةُ عَلَى شَرِيعَةٍ مَا لَمْ تَظْهَرْ فِيهِمْ ثَلَاثٌ مَا لَمْ يُقْبَضْ مِنْهُمُ الْعِلْمُ وَيَكْثُرُ فِيهِمْ وَلَدُ الْخَبَثِ وَيَظْهَرُ فِيهِمُ السَّقَّارُونَ قَالُوا وَمَا السَّقَّارُونَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ؟ قَالَ «بَشَرٌ يَكُونُونَ فِي آخِرِ الزَّمَانِ تَكُونُ تَحِيَّتُهُمْ بَيْنَهُمْ إِذَا تَلَاقَوِا التَّلَاعُنُ» هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحٌ عَلَى شَرْطِ الشَّيْخَيْنِ وَلَمْ يُخْرِجَاهُ منكر
English Translation
Hadrat Mu'adh ibn Anas (may Allah be well pleased with him) narrated from his father that the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stated: "The Ummah will continue to be upon the right path as long as three things do not appear among them: as long as knowledge is not taken away from them, the children of immorality do not become numerous among them, and the Saqqarun do not appear among them." They submitted: "And what are the Saqqarun, O Messenger of Allah?" He stated: "People who will exist at the end of time whose greeting to each other when they meet will be cursing one another." This hadith is sound according to the criteria of al-Bukhari and Muslim, and they did not record it.
Urdu Translation
حضرت معاذ بن انس رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ نے اپنے والد سے روایت کیا کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا: "اُمّت شریعت پر قائم رہے گی جب تک اُن میں تین چیزیں ظاہر نہ ہوں: جب تک اُن سے علم نہ اُٹھایا جائے، اُن میں حرام اولاد کی کثرت نہ ہو، اور اُن میں سقّارون ظاہر نہ ہوں۔" لوگوں نے عرض کیا: یا رسول اللہ! سقّارون کیا ہیں؟ آپ نے ارشاد فرمایا: "آخری زمانے میں ایسے لوگ ہوں گے جن کا آپس میں ملنے پر سلام ایک دوسرے پر لعنت کرنا ہوگا۔"
