حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ الزَّاهِدُ ثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ الْجُنَيْدِ ثَنَا سَهْلُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ ثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ إِدْرِيسَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَدِّهِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ سُئِلَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ عَنْ أَكْثَرَ مَا يُدْخِلُ النَّاسَ الْجَنَّةَ قَالَ «التَّقْوَى وَحُسْنُ الْخُلُقِ» وَسُئِلَ عَنْ أَكْثَرَ مَا يُدْخِلُ النَّاسَ النَّارَ فَقَالَ الْأَجْوَفَانِ الْفَمُ وَالْفَرْجُ «هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحُ الْإِسْنَادِ وَلَمْ يُخَرِّجَاهُ» صحيح
English Translation
Hadrat Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be well pleased with him) narrated: The Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) was asked about what most enters people into Paradise. He stated: "God-consciousness and good character." And he was asked about what most enters people into the Fire, and he stated: "The two hollow ones: the mouth and the private parts." This is a hadith with an authentic chain of transmission, though neither [al-Bukhari nor Muslim] recorded it. [Authentic].
Urdu Translation
حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت ہے: نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم سے پوچھا گیا کہ سب سے زیادہ کون سی چیز لوگوں کو جنت میں لے جاتی ہے؟ ارشاد فرمایا: «تقویٰ اور حسنِ اخلاق۔» اور پوچھا گیا کہ سب سے زیادہ کون سی چیز لوگوں کو جہنم میں لے جاتی ہے؟ ارشاد فرمایا: «دو کھوکھلے: منہ اور شرمگاہ۔» یہ حدیث صحیح الاسناد ہے مگر انہوں نے اسے روایت نہیں کیا۔ صحیح۔
