حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ الْمَحْبُوبِيُّ بِمَرْوَ ثنا سَعِيدُ بْنُ مَسْعُودٍ ثنا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ أَنْبَأَ الْعَوَّامُ بْنُ حَوْشَبٍ حَدَّثَنِي حَبِيبُ بْنُ أَبِي ثَابِتٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «لَا تَمْنَعُوا نِسَاءَكُمُ الْمَسَاجِدَ وَبُيُوتُهُنَّ خَيْرٌ لَهُنَّ» «هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحٌ عَلَى شَرْطِ الشَّيْخَيْنِ فَقَدِ احْتَجَّا جَمِيعًا بِالْعَوَّامِ بْنِ حَوْشَبٍ وَقَدْ صَحَّ سَمَاعُ حَبِيبٍ مِنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ وَلَمْ يُخَرِّجَا فِيهِ الزِّيَادَةَ» وَبُيُوتُهُنَّ خَيْرٌ لَهُنَّ «وَشَاهِدُهُ» على شرطهما
English Translation
Abu al-Abbas Muhammad ibn Ahmad al-Mahbubi narrated to us in Marw... from Hadrat Ibn Umar (may Allah be well pleased with them both) who said: The Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stated: "Do not prevent your women from (going to) the mosques, though their homes are better for them." This is an authentic hadith upon the conditions of the two Shaykhs, for they both cited al-Awwam ibn Hawshab as authority, and the hearing of Habib from Ibn Umar has been confirmed. They did not record the additional wording: "though their homes are better for them."
Urdu Translation
حضرت ابن عمر رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہما سے روایت ہے کہ حضور نبی اکرم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا: "اپنی عورتوں کو مسجدوں (سے جانے) سے نہ روکو، حالانکہ ان کے گھر ان کے لیے بہتر ہیں۔" یہ حدیث شیخین کی شرط پر صحیح ہے کیونکہ انہوں نے دونوں عوام بن حوشب سے احتجاج کیا ہے اور حبیب کا ابن عمر سے سماع ثابت ہے۔ انہوں نے اضافی لفظ 'ان کے گھر ان کے لیے بہتر ہیں' تخریج نہیں کیا۔
