Narrated byfrom Hadrat Urwah ibn al-Zubayrwho said
Arabic (Original)
أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ الْبَغْدَادِيُّ ثنا أَبِي ثنا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ ثنا أَبُو الْأَسْوَدِ عَنْ عُرْوَةَ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ قَالَ «وَكَانَ مِمَّنْ شَهِدَ بَدْرًا مِنْ بَنِي هَاشِمِ بْنِ عَبْدِ مَنَافٍ أَبُو كَبْشَةَ مَوْلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ»
English Translation
Narrated from Hadrat Urwah ibn al-Zubayr (may Allah be well pleased with him) who said: "Among those from the Banu Hashim ibn Abd Manaf who participated in the Battle of Badr was Abu Kabshah, the freed slave of the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him)."
Urdu Translation
حضرت عروہ بن زبیر رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ بنو ہاشم بن عبد مناف میں سے جنہوں نے غزوہ بدر میں شرکت کی ان میں ابو کبشہ مولیٰ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم بھی تھے۔
