حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ ثنا بِشْرُ بْنُ مُوسَى ثنا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ مُوسَى الْأَشْيَبُ ثنا زُهَيْرٌ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ عَوْنِ بْنِ أَبِي جُحَيْفَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ «رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ صَلَّى بِالْأَبْطَحِ صَلَاةَ الْعَصْرِ رَكْعَتَيْنِ» هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحٌ عَلَى شَرْطِ الشَّيْخَيْنِ وَلَمْ يُخَرِّجَاهُ
English Translation
Narrated from Hadrat Abu Juhayfah (may Allah be well pleased with him) who said: "I saw the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) pray at al-Abtah the Asr prayer — two rak'ahs (shortened)." This is an authentic hadith meeting the conditions of the two Shaykhs, yet they did not record it.
Urdu Translation
حضرت ابوجحیفہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ "میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کو ابطح میں عصر کی نماز دو رکعت (قصر) پڑھتے دیکھا۔" یہ حدیث شیخین کی شرط پر صحیح ہے مگر انہوں نے اسے نقل نہیں کیا۔
