صلى العيد ركعتين لا يقرا فيهما الا بام الكتاب
English Translation
He (the Prophet, peace be upon him) prayed the Eid prayer as two units and recited in them only Surah al-Fatihah.
Urdu Translation
”آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے نماز عید دو رکعت پرھائی اور ان میں صرف سورہ فاتحہ کی قرأت فرمائی۔“[مجموعه ضعيف احاديث/حدیث: 548]
