من اسرج فى مسجد سراجا لم تزل الملائكة وحملة العرش يستغفرون له ما دام فى ذالك المسجد ضوء من ذالك السراج
English Translation
Whoever lights a lamp in a mosque, the angels and the bearers of the Throne continue to seek forgiveness for him as long as the light of that lamp remains in the mosque.
Urdu Translation
”جس نے کسی مسجد میں چراغ جلایا، عام فرشتے اور عرش اٹھانے والے فرشتے اس کے لئے اس وقت تک استغفار کرتے رہتے ہیں جب تک مسجد میں اس چراغ کی روشنی باقی رہتی ہے۔“[مجموعه ضعيف احاديث/حدیث: 401]
