أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ الطَّيَالِسِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، حَدَّثَنِي عَدِيُّ بْنُ ثَابِتٍ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ سَعِيدَ بْنَ جُبَيْرٍ يُحَدِّثُ، عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " خَرَجَ يَوْمَ الْفِطْرِفَصَلَّى رَكْعَتَيْنِ، وَلَمْ يُصَلِّ قَبْلَهَا وَلَا بَعْدَهَا "
English Translation
Hadrat Ibn Abbas (may Allah be well pleased with them both) narrated that the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) went out on the day of Eid al-Fitr and prayed two rak'ahs. He did not pray before them or after them.
Urdu Translation
حضرت ابن عباس رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہما سے روایت ہے کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم عیدالفطر کے دن نکلے اور دو رکعتیں پڑھیں۔ نہ ان سے پہلے کوئی نماز پڑھی اور نہ ان کے بعد۔
