حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبَانُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ الْعَطَّارُ ، حَدَّثَنِي يَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو نَضْرَةَ ، أَنَّ أَبَا سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيّ حَدَّثَهُ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ سُئِلَ عَنْ الْوِتْرِ، فَقَالَ :" أَوْتِرُوا قَبْلَ الْفَجْرِ "
English Translation
Hadrat Abu Sa'id al-Khudri (may Allah be well pleased with him) narrated that the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) was asked about the Witr. He stated: 'Perform the Witr before dawn.'
Urdu Translation
حضرت ابو سعید خدری رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم سے وتر کے بارے میں پوچھا گیا تو آپ نے ارشاد فرمایا: 'فجر سے پہلے وتر پڑھو۔'
