Arabic (Original)
حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ خَالِدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا مُعْتَمِرٌ، عَنْ لَيْثٍ، عَنْ طَاوُسٍ، قَالَ:"فُضِّلَتَا عَلَى كُلِّ سُورَةٍ فِي الْقُرْآنِ بِسِتِّينَ حَسَنَةً".
English Translation
Abdullah ibn Amr said: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "Fasting and the Quran intercede for a servant on the Day of Resurrection. Fasting says: 'My Lord, I prevented him from food and desires during the day, so let me intercede for him.' And the Quran says: 'I prevented him from sleep at night, so let me intercede for him.' So they are both allowed to intercede."
Urdu Translation
طاؤوس رحمہ اللہ نے کہا: قرآن کی یہ دونوں سورتیں («سجده»اور«تبارك») ہر سورہ سے ساٹھ نیکیاں (درجہ) زیادہ ہیں۔[سنن دارمي/من كتاب فضائل القرآن /حدیث: 3444]
