أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو مَعْمَرٍ إِسْمَاعِيل بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، عَنْ صَالِحِ بْنِ عُمَرَ ، عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ كُلَيْبٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ، قَالَ : كَانَ إِذَا حَدَّثَ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، يَقُولُ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ :" مَنْ كَذَبَ عَلَيَّ مُتَعَمِّدًا، فَلْيَتَبَوَّأْ مَقْعَدَهُ مِنْ النَّارِ "، فَكَانَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ إِذَا حَدَّثَ قَالَ : إِذَا سَمِعْتُمُونِي أُحَدِّثُ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَلَمْ تَجِدُوهُ فِي كِتَابِ اللَّهِ، أَوْ حَسَنًا عِنْدَ النَّاسِ، فَاعْلَمُوا أَنِّي قَدْ كَذَبْتُ عَلَيْهِ
English Translation
Kulaib narrated from his father that Hadrat Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be well pleased with him), whenever he narrated from the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him), would say: The Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stated: "Whoever deliberately lies upon me, let him prepare his seat in the Fire." And Hadrat Ibn Abbas (may Allah be well pleased with him), whenever he narrated, would say: "When you hear me narrate from the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) and you do not find it in the Book of Allah or considered good by the people, then know that I have lied upon him."
Urdu Translation
کلیب نے اپنے والد سے روایت کیا کہ حضرت ابو ہریرہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ جب رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم سے حدیث بیان کرتے تو فرماتے: رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا: "جس نے جان بوجھ کر مجھ پر جھوٹ بولا تو وہ اپنا ٹھکانا جہنم میں بنا لے۔" اور حضرت ابن عباس رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ جب حدیث بیان کرتے تو فرماتے: "جب تم مجھے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم سے حدیث بیان کرتے سنو اور اسے کتاب اللہ میں نہ پاؤ اور نہ لوگوں کے نزدیک اچھا ہو، تو جان لو کہ میں نے ان پر جھوٹ بولا ہے۔"
