أَخْبَرَنَا مَرْوَانُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ ، قَالَ :" لَمَّا كَانَ أَيَّامُ الْحَرَّةِ لَمْ يُؤَذَّنْ فِي مَسْجِدِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ثَلَاثًا، وَلَمْ يُقَمْ وَلَمْ يَبْرَحْ سَعِيدُ بْنُ الْمُسَيِّبِ الْمَسْجِدِ، وَكَانَ لَا يَعْرِفُ وَقْتَ الصَّلَاةِ إِلَّا بِهَمْهَمَةٍ يَسْمَعُهَا مِنْ قَبْرِ النَّبِيِّ "، فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَاهُ
English Translation
Sa'id ibn Abd al-Aziz narrated: 'During the days of al-Harrah (the attack on Madinah), the adhan was not called in the mosque of the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) for three days, nor was the iqamah given. Sa'id ibn al-Musayyib did not leave the mosque, and he could only recognize the times of prayer by a murmuring sound that he would hear from the blessed grave of the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him).' And he mentioned its meaning.
Urdu Translation
سعید بن عبدالعزیز سے روایت ہے: واقعہ حرہ (مدینے پر حملے) کے دنوں میں تین دن تک نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کی مسجد میں اذان نہیں دی گئی اور نہ اقامت کہی گئی۔ سعید بن مسیب مسجد سے نہیں ہٹے اور وہ نماز کا وقت صرف اس گنگناہٹ سے پہچانتے تھے جو انہیں نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کی قبر مبارک سے سنائی دیتی تھی۔
