أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ الْأَعْمَشِ ، عَنْ شِمْرِ بْنِ عَطِيَّةَ ، عَنْ رَجُلٍ مِنْ مُزَيْنَةَ، أَوْ جُهَيْنَةَ، قَالَ : صَلَّى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْفَجْرَ فَإِذَا هُوَ بِقَرِيبٍ مِنْ مِئَةِ ذِئْبٍ قَدْ أَقْعَيْنَ وُفُودُ الذِّئَابِ، فَقَالَ لَهُمْ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ :" تَرْضَخُونَ لَهُمْ شَيْئًا مِنْ طَعَامِكُمْ وَتَأْمَنُونَ عَلَى مَا سِوَى ذَلِكَ؟ "، فَشَكَوْا إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْحَاجَةَ، قَالَ : " فَآذِنُوهُنَّ "، قَالَ : فَآذَنُوهُنَّ فَخَرَجْنَ وَلَهُنَّ عُوَاءٌ
English Translation
A man from the tribe of Muzaynah or Juhaynah narrated: 'The Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) prayed the Fajr prayer, and then there were nearly a hundred wolves that had sat down on their haunches — a delegation of wolves. The Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stated to the people: "Will you give them something of your food and be safe from them otherwise?" They complained to the Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) of their own need. He stated: "Then drive them away." So they drove them away and they left howling.'
Urdu Translation
مزینہ یا جہینہ قبیلے کے ایک شخص نے بیان کیا: رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے فجر کی نماز پڑھی تو تقریباً سو بھیڑیے بیٹھے ہوئے تھے — بھیڑیوں کا ایک وفد۔ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے لوگوں سے فرمایا: کیا تم انہیں اپنے کھانے میں سے کچھ دے دو گے اور باقی سے محفوظ رہو گے؟ لوگوں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم سے اپنی تنگ دستی کی شکایت کی۔ آپ نے فرمایا: تو انہیں بھگا دو۔ انہوں نے بھگا دیا تو وہ چیخیں مارتے ہوئے چلے گئے۔
