أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو نُعْيَمٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ الْأَعْمَشِ ، عَنْ أَبِي وَائِلٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ :" لَا يَقُولَنَّ أَحَدُكُمْ : أَنَا خَيْرٌ مِنْ يُونُسَ بْنِ مَتَّى "
English Translation
Hadrat Abdullah (bin Mas'ud) (may Allah be well pleased with him) narrated that the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stated: 'None of you should say: I am better than Yunus (Jonah) bin Matta.'
Urdu Translation
حضرت عبداللہ (بن مسعود) رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا: 'تم میں سے کوئی یہ نہ کہے کہ: میں یونس بن متی سے بہتر ہوں۔'
