أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ كَثِيرٍ ، أَخْبَرَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ كَثِيرٍ ، عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ :" لَا يَحِلُّ لِامْرَأَةٍ تُؤْمِنُ بِاللَّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ أَوْ تُؤْمِنُ بِاللَّهِ أَنْ تَحِدَّ عَلَى أَحَدٍ فَوْقَ ثَلَاثَةِ أَيَّامٍ، إِلَّا عَلَى زَوْجِهَا "
English Translation
Hadrat Aisha (may Allah be well pleased with her) narrated from the Beloved Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) who stated: "It is not lawful for a woman who believes in Allah and the Last Day to mourn for anyone more than three days, except for her husband."
Urdu Translation
حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہا سے روایت ہے کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا: "کسی عورت کے لیے جو اللہ اور آخرت کے دن پر ایمان رکھتی ہو حلال نہیں کہ وہ کسی پر تین دن سے زیادہ سوگ کرے سوائے اپنے شوہر کے۔"
