Arabic (Original)
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الرَّقَاشِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنِي مَالِكٌ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ نَافِعًا ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ ، قَالَ :" فَرَّقَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بَيْنَ الْمُتَلَاعِنَيْنِ، وَأَلْحَقَ الْوَلَدَ بِأُمِّهِ "
English Translation
Hadrat Abdullah ibn Umar (may Allah be well pleased with them both) narrated: "The Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) separated the two who performed li'an (mutual cursing) and attributed the child to the mother."
Urdu Translation
حضرت عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہما سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے لعان کرنے والوں کے درمیان تفریق فرما دی اور بچے کو ماں سے ملحق فرمایا۔
