أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ ، وَحَجَّاجٌ ، قَالَا : حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، أَخْبَرَنِي عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُدْرِكٍ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ أَبَا زُرْعَةَ يُحَدِّثُ، عَنْ جَرِيرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " اسْتَنْصَتَ النَّاسَ "، فِي حَجَّةِ الْوَدَاعِ، ثُمَّ قَالَ :" لَا تَرْجِعُوا بَعْدِي كُفَّارًا يَضْرِبُ بَعْضُكُمْ رِقَابَ بَعْضٍ "
English Translation
Hadrat Jarir ibn Abdullah (may Allah be well pleased with him) narrated that the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) asked the people to be silent during the Farewell Hajj, then stated: 'Do not return to disbelief after me, striking the necks of one another.'
Urdu Translation
حضرت جریر بن عبداللہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے حجۃ الوداع میں لوگوں کو خاموش کرایا، پھر ارشاد فرمایا: 'میرے بعد کافر نہ بن جانا کہ ایک دوسرے کی گردنیں مارنے لگو۔'
