حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا عُقْبَةُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ ، حَدَّثَنِي نَافِعٌ ، عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ" إِذَا طَاف�� بِالْبَيْتِ الطَّوَافَ الْأَوَّلَ، خَبَّ ثَلَاثَةً، وَمَشَى أَرْبَعَةً، وَكَانَ يَسْعَى بِبَطْنِ الْمَسِيلِ إِذَا سَعَى بَيْنَ الصَّفَا وَالْمَرْوَةِ ". فَقُلْتُ لِنَافِعٍ : أَكَانَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ يَمْشِي إِذَا بَلَغَ الرُّكْنَ الْيَمَانِيَ ؟ قَالَ : لَا، إِلَّا أَنْ يُزَاحَمَ عَلَى الرُّكْنِ ، فَإِنَّهُ كَانَ لَا يَدَعُهُ حَتَّى يَسْتَلِمَهُ
English Translation
Hadrat Ibn Umar (may Allah be well pleased with them both) narrated that the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) used to, when he performed the first Tawaf of the House, walk briskly (Raml) for three rounds and walk normally for four. And he used to run through the valley (Batn al-Maseel) when performing Sa'i between Safa and Marwah. I asked Nafi: 'Did Abdullah walk when he reached the Yemeni corner?' He said: 'No, unless he was crowded at the corner, then he would not leave it without touching it.'
Urdu Translation
حضرت ابن عمر رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہما سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم جب پہلا طواف کرتے تو تین چکروں میں تیز قدموں سے چلتے (رمل) اور چار میں عام چال سے چلتے، اور صفا و مروہ کے درمیان سعی کرتے وقت بطن المسیل (وادی) میں دوڑتے تھے۔ میں نے نافع سے پوچھا: 'کیا عبداللہ رکن یمانی تک پہنچ کر پیدل چلتے تھے؟' انہوں نے کہا: 'نہیں، مگر جب رکن پر بھیڑ ہوتی تو وہ بغیر استلام کیے نہیں چھوڑتے تھے۔'
