عَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اَللَّهُ عَنْهَا قَالَتْ: { خَرَجْنَا مَعَ اَلنَّبِيِّ - صلى الله عليه وسلم -عَامَ حَجَّةِ اَلْوَدَاعِ, فَمِنَّا مَنْ أَهَلَّ بِعُمْرَةٍ, وَمِنَّا مَنْ أَهَلَّ بِحَجٍّ وَعُمْرَةٍ, وَمِنَّا مَنْ أَهَلَّ بِحَجٍّ, وَأَهَلَّ رَسُولُ اَللَّهِ - صلى الله عليه وسلم -بِالْحَجِّ, فَأَمَّا مَنْ أَهَلَّ بِعُمْرَةٍ فَحَلَّ, وَأَمَّا مَنْ أَهَلَّ بِحَجٍّ, أَوْ جَمَعَ اَلْحَجَّ وَالْعُمْرَةَ فَلَمْ يَحِلُّوا حَتَّى كَانَ يَوْمَ اَلنَّحْرِ } مُتَّفَقٌ عَلَيْهِ 1 .1 - صحيح. رواه البخاري ( 1562 )، ومسلم ( 1211 ) ( 118 ) واللفظ لمسلم.
English Translation
A’isha (RAA) narrated, ‘We left Madinah with the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) to perform the Farewell Hajj. Some of us declared Ihram to perform 'Umrah, while others declared their intentions to perform both Hajj and 'Umrah. Yet others declared their lhram to perform Hajj only. The Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) declared Ihram for Hajj only. Those who intended 'Umrah terminated their Ihram as soon as they finished the rituals of 'Umrah. Those who intended to perform Hajj only or to combine Hajj with 'Umrah, did not terminate their Ihram until the Day of Slaughtering (i.e. the day of sacrifice or ’Idul Ad-ha).’ Agreed upon.
Urdu Translation
حضرت اُمّ المؤمنین عائشہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہا فرماتی ہیں: ہم نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کے ساتھ حجۃ الوداع کے سال نکلے۔ ہم میں سے بعض نے عمرے کا احرام باندھا اور بعض نے حج کا، اور بعض نے حج اور عمرہ دونوں کا احرام باندھا۔ نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے حج کا احرام باندھا۔ جن لوگوں نے عمرے یا حج و عمرہ دونوں کا احرام باندھا تھا وہ طواف اور سعی کے بعد حلال ہو گئے، اور جنہوں نے صرف حج کا احرام باندھا تھا وہ یوم النحر (دس ذوالحجہ) تک حلال نہ ہوئے۔ (متفق علیہ)
