Arabic (Original)
عَنْ عَبْدِ اَللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ, وَأَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اَللَّهُ عَنْهُمْ, { أَنَّهُمَا سَمِعَا رَسُولَ اَللَّهِ - صلى الله عليه وسلم -يَقُولُ -عَلَى أَعْوَادِ مِنْبَرِهِ- "لَيَنْتَهِيَنَّ أَقْوَامٌ عَنْ وَدْعِهِمُ اَلْجُمُعَاتِ, أَوْ لَيَخْتِمَنَّ اَللَّهُ عَلَى قُلُوبِهِمْ, ثُمَّ لَيَكُونُنَّ مِنَ اَلْغَافِلِينَ } رَوَاهُ مُسْلِمٌ . 1 .1 - صحيح. رواه مسلم (865). ومعنى ودعهم: تركهم.
English Translation
It is narrated by Hadrat 'Abdullah bin 'Umar and Hadrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be well pleased with him) that they heard Allah's Messenger (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) say (while standing) upon the planks of his pulpit: "People must cease to neglect the Friday prayers, or else Allah will seal their hearts and then they will be among the unmindful." .
Urdu Translation
حضرت عبد اللہ بن عمر اور حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہم سے روایت ہے کہ انہوں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کو (منبر کے) لکڑی کے تختوں پر کھڑے ہو کر فرماتے سنا: جب جمعے کی اذان ہو تو اللہ کے ذکر کی طرف چلو اور خرید و فروخت چھوڑ دو۔
