English Translation
Hakim ibn Hizam (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "The buyer and seller have the option (to cancel the sale) as long as they have not parted" — or he said: "until they part ways. If both speak the truth and disclose the defects (of their goods), their transaction will be blessed. But if they lie and conceal defects, the blessing of their transaction will be wiped out."
Urdu Translation
سیدنا حکیم بن حزام رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہرسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا:”بیچنے والے اور خریدار دونوں کو اختیار ہے جب تک کہ جدا نہ ہوں“یا یہ فرمایا“یہاں تک کہ علیحدہ ہو جائیں، پس دونوں گروہ سچ بولیں اور عیب و ہنر اس کا ظاہر کر دیں تو انھیں ان کی اس خریدوفروخت میں برکت دی جائے گی اور اگر جھوٹ بولیں گے اور عیب پوشی کریں گے تو ان کی تجارت میں سے برکت ختم کر دی جائے گی۔“[مختصر صحيح بخاري/حدیث: 996]
