English Translation
Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) narrated: "The Prophet (peace be upon him) used to observe i'tikaf consistently during the last ten days of Ramadan until Allah took his soul. After him, his wives continued to observe i'tikaf."
Urdu Translation
ام المؤمنین عائشہ صدیقہ رضی اللہ عنہا زوجہ نبی کریمصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمسے روایت ہے کہنبی کریمصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمرمضان کے آخری عشرہ میں برابر اعتکاف کیا کرتے، یہاں تک کہ اللہ تعالیٰ نے آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکو وفات دی پھر آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکی ازواج نے آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکے بعد اعتکاف کیا۔[مختصر صحيح بخاري/حدیث: 978]
