English Translation
Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrated that al-Sa'b ibn Jaththamah al-Laythi (may Allah be pleased with him) presented a wild donkey as a gift to the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) while he was at al-Abwa' or Waddan. The Prophet (peace be upon him) returned it. When he saw the displeasure on al-Sa'b's face, he said: "We only returned it because we are in ihram."
Urdu Translation
سیدنا عبداللہ بن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما سے روایت ہے کہسیدنا صعب بن جثامہ لیثی رضی اللہ عنہ نے ایک گورخر رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکو ہدیتاً دیا اور اس وقت آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلممقام ابواء یا مقام دوران میں تھے، تو آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے اسے واپس کر دیا پھر جب ان کے چہرے پر رنج کا اثر دیکھا تو فرمایا:”ہم نے صرف اسی وجہ سے واپس کیا کہ ہم احرام باندھے ہوئے ہیں۔“[مختصر صحيح بخاري/حدیث: 887]
