English Translation
Abdullah ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrated: "When the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) returned from a military expedition, Hajj, or Umrah, he would say Allahu Akbar three times on every elevated ground, then say: 'La ilaha illallah, wahdahu la sharika lah, lahul-mulku wa lahul-hamd, wa huwa 'ala kulli shay'in qadir. Ayibuna, ta'ibuna, 'abiduna, sajiduna, li-rabbina hamidun. Sadaqallahu wa'dah, wa nasara 'abdah, wa hazamal-ahzaba wahdah' (There is no god but Allah alone, with no partner. His is the dominion and His is the praise, and He is over all things omnipotent. We return repenting, worshipping, prostrating, and praising our Lord. Allah has fulfilled His promise, helped His servant, and defeated the confederates alone)."
Urdu Translation
سیدنا عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما کہتے ہیں کہرسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمجب جہاد سے یا حج سے یا عمرہ سے لوٹتے تو ہر بلند زمین پر تین مرتبہ تکبیر کہتے تھے، اس کے بعد کہتے:”اللہ کے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں، اس کا کوئی شریک نہیں، اسی کی بادشاہت ہے اور اسی کو سزاوار ہے ہر طرح کی تعریف اور وہ ہر بات پر قادر ہے (ہم حج سے) واپس ہو رہے ہیں توبہ کرتے ہوئے، سجدہ کرتے ہوئے، اپنے پروردگار کی تعریف کرتے ہوئے۔ اللہ تعالیٰ نے اپنا وعدہ سچا کیا اور اپنے بندے کی مدد کی اور کفار کی جماعتوں کو اسی اکیلے نے بھگا دیا۔“[مختصر صحيح بخاري/حدیث: 873]
