English Translation
Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "O Allah, forgive those who shave their heads." The Companions said: "And those who shorten their hair!" He said again: "O Allah, forgive those who shave their heads." They repeated: "And those who shorten their hair!" Then the third time he said: "And those who shorten their hair."
Urdu Translation
سیدنا ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہرسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا:”اے اللہ! سر منڈوانے والوں کو معاف کر دے۔“صحابہ نے کہا:”بال کتروانے والوں کو بھی۔“آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے دوبارہ فرمایا:”اے اللہ! سر منڈوانے والوں کو معاف فرما دے۔“صحابہ نے کہا:”بال کتروا لے والوں کو بھی۔“تو آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے تیسری بار فرمایا:”بال کتروانے والوں کی بھی مغفرت فرما۔“[مختصر صحيح بخاري/حدیث: 852]
