English Translation
Hafsah (may Allah be pleased with her), the wife of the Prophet (peace be upon him), said: "O Messenger of Allah, why is it that the people have come out of Ihram after Umrah but you have not come out after your Umrah?" The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "I have matted my hair and garlanded my sacrificial animal. I cannot come out of Ihram until I have offered my sacrifice."
Urdu Translation
ام المؤمنین حفصہ رضی اللہ عنہا زوجہ نبی کریمصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے عرض کی کہیا رسول اللہ! لوگوں کا کیا حال ہے کہ وہ عمرہ کر کے احرام سے باہر ہو گئے اور آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمعمرہ کر کے احرام سے باہر نہیں ہوئے تو نبی کریمصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا:”میں نے اپنے سر کے بال جمائے اور اپنی قربانی کے گلے میں ہار ڈال دیا، لہٰذا میں جب تک قربانی نہ کر لوں احرام سے باہر نہیں آ سکتا۔“[مختصر صحيح بخاري/حدیث: 795]
