English Translation
Amir ibn Rabi'ah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated from the Prophet (peace be upon him) that he said: "When any of you sees a funeral procession and is not walking with it, let him stand up until it passes him or until the bier is put down."
Urdu Translation
سیدنا عامر بن ربیعہ رضی اللہ عنہ نبی کریمصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمسے روایت کرتے ہیں کہآپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا:”جب تم میں سے کوئی شخص جنازہ کو دیکھے تو اگر اس کے ساتھ نہ جا رہا ہو تو کھڑا ہو جائے، یہاں تک کہ وہ اس سے آگے بڑھ جائے یا قبل اس کے کہ وہ آگے بڑھے یا رکھ دیا جائے۔“[مختصر صحيح بخاري/حدیث: 665]
