English Translation
Abdullah ibn Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that when there was a solar eclipse during the time of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him), it was announced: "Al-salatu jami'ah" (Prayer in congregation — i.e., come together for prayer).
Urdu Translation
سیدنا عبداللہ بن عمرو (بن عاص) رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہرسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکے عہد میں جب سورج گرہن ہوا تو”الصّلٰوۃ جامعۃ“کے الفاظ کے ساتھ اعلان کیا گیا۔ (یعنی نماز کے لیے اکٹھے ہو جاؤ)۔[مختصر صحيح بخاري/حدیث: 563]
