English Translation
Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) narrated: "The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) prayed Witr in every part of the night — sometimes in the beginning, sometimes in the middle, and sometimes at the end. In his later years, his Witr reached close to dawn."

ام المؤمنین عائشہ صدیقہ رضی اللہ عنہا فرماتی ہیں کہرات کے ہر حصہ میں رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے نماز وتر پڑھی ہے کبھی اول شب میں، کبھی نصف شب اور کبھی آخر شب میں اور آخر میں نبی کریمصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکا وتر صبح کے قریب پہنچا۔[مختصر صحيح بخاري/حدیث: 541]
