English Translation
Ibn Abbas and Jabir ibn Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with them) narrated that during the time of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him), there was no adhan for the Eid al-Fitr or Eid al-Adha prayers.
Urdu Translation
سیدنا ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما اور جابر بن عبداللہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ(رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکے عہد میں) عیدالفطر اور عیدالاضحی کے دن نماز (عید) کی اذان نہ کہی جاتی تھی۔[مختصر صحيح بخاري/حدیث: 532]
