English Translation
Narrated Jarir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him): I came to the Prophet (peace be upon him) and said that I wished to pledge allegiance to him on Islam. He set the condition that I remain steadfast in Islam and give sincere counsel to every Muslim. So I pledged allegiance to him on those terms.
Urdu Translation
سیدنا جریر بن عبداللہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہمیں نبی کریمصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکی خدمت میں حاضر ہوا اور کہا کہ آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمسے اسلام پر بیعت کرنا چاہتا ہوں، تو آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے مجھے اسلام پر قائم رہنے اور ہر مسلمان کی خیرخواہی کرنے کی شرط عائد کی۔ پس اسی پر میں نے آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمسے بیعت کی۔[مختصر صحيح بخاري/حدیث: 53]
