English Translation
Abdullah ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: "The Prophet (peace be upon him) used to deliver the khutbah standing, then sit down, then stand up again — just as you do now."
Urdu Translation
سیدنا عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما کہتے ہیں کہنبی کریمصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکھڑے ہو کر خطبہ پڑھتے تھے، اس کے بعد بیٹھ جاتے تھے، پھر کھڑے ہو جاتے تھے جیسا کہ تم اب کرتے ہو۔[مختصر صحيح بخاري/حدیث: 514]
