English Translation
Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) was asked by a man: "Were you present with the Prophet (peace be upon him) at the Eid prayer ground?" He said: "Yes, and if it were not for my closeness to him (as a relative), I would not have been able to attend due to my young age." The Prophet (peace be upon him) came to the marker near the house of Kathir ibn al-Salt and delivered a sermon. Then he went to the women, admonished them, reminded them (of Allah's commands), and ordered them to give charity. So a woman would reach for her ring, another for her earring, and another for her jewelry, removing them and putting them in the cloth of Bilal (may Allah be pleased with him). Then the Prophet (peace be upon him) and Bilal went home.
Urdu Translation
سیدنا ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما سے ایک شخص نے کہا کہتم نبی کریمصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکے ہمراہ (عیدگاہ) جانے کے لیے حاضر ہوئے ہو؟ تو انھوں نے کہا ہاں! اگر میری قرابت آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمسے نہ ہوتی تو میں حاضر نہ ہو سکتا (یعنی کم سنی کے سبب سے) آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلماس نشان کے پاس آئے جو کثیر بن صلت کے مکان کے پاس ہے پھر آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے خطبہ پڑھا، اس کے بعد عورتوں کے پاس آئے اور انھیں نصیحت کی اور ان کو (اللہ کے احکام کی) یاد دلائی اور انھیں حکم دیا کہ صدقہ دیں پس کوئی عورت اپنا ہاتھ اپنی انگوٹھی کہ طرف بڑھانے لگی اور کوئی اپنی بالی کی طرف اور کوئی کسی زیور کی طرف اور اس کو اتار اتار کر سیدنا بلال رضی اللہ عنہ کی چادر میں ڈالنے لگیں، پھر آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلماور سیدنا بلال رضی اللہ عنہ گھر تشریف لے آئے۔[مختصر صحيح بخاري/حدیث: 490]
