English Translation
Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "When the imam says 'Sami' Allahu liman hamidah,' then say 'Allahumma Rabbana lakal-hamd.' Whoever's saying coincides with that of the angels, all his past sins will be forgiven."
Urdu Translation
سیدنا ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہنبی کریمصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا:”جب امام سمع اللہ لمن حمدہ کہے تو تم کہو اللّٰھمّ ربّنا لک الحمد۔ جس کا قول ملائکہ کے قول کے موافق (یعنی ہم آواز) ہوا تو اس کے گزشتہ تمام گناہ معاف کر دیئے جائیں گے۔“[مختصر صحيح بخاري/حدیث: 457]
