English Translation
Zayd ibn Thabit (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that in this hadith there is an addition that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) came out in the morning and said: "I saw what you did, and I understood your eagerness for worship. O people, pray in your homes, for the best prayer of a person is the one he prays in his home, except for the obligatory prayer."
Urdu Translation
سیدنا زید بن ثابت رضی اللہ عنہ سے اس حدیث میں (پچھلی حدیث سے اتنا زیادہ) روایت ہے کہرسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلم(صبح کو تشریف لائے اور) فرمایا:”میں نے جو تمہارا فعل دیکھا اسے سمجھ لیا (یعنی تم کو عبادت کا شوق ہے) تو اے لوگو! اپنے گھروں میں نماز پڑھو کیونکہ آدمی کی نمازوں میں افضل نماز وہ ہے جو اس کے گھر میں ہو سوائے فرض نماز کے۔“[مختصر صحيح بخاري/حدیث: 424]
