English Translation
Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) and Abdullah ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them) said: "When the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) was afflicted with his final illness, he began pulling his blanket over his face. When it caused him discomfort from the heat, he would remove it. In that state, he said: 'May the curse of Allah be upon the Jews and the Christians, for they took the graves of their prophets as places of worship.' He was warning against their practices."
Urdu Translation
ام المؤمنین عائشہ صدیقہ رضی اللہ عنہا اور سیدنا عبداللہ بن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما کہتے ہیں کہجب رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمپر (مرض الموت) طاری ہوئی تو آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلماپنی چادر اپنے منہ پر ڈالنے لگے۔ پھر جب اس سے آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکو گرمی معلوم ہوتی تو اس کو اپنے چہرے سے ہٹا دیتے پھر اسی حالت میں فرمایا:”یہود و نصاریٰ پر اللہ کی لعنت ہو کہ انھوں نے اپنے نبیوں کی قبروں کو مسجدیں بنا لیا۔“آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمان کے افعال سے ڈراتے تھے۔[مختصر صحيح بخاري/حدیث: 276]
