English Translation
Sahl (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "Some people used to pray with the Prophet (peace be upon him) with their izars (lower garments) tied around their necks like children. The women were told: 'Do not raise your heads until the men sit up straight' — because of the risk of exposure due to the men having only a single garment."
Urdu Translation
سیدنا سہل رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہکچھ لوگ نبی کریمصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکے ہمراہ نماز پڑھتے تھے، بچوں کی طرح اپنی ازاروں کو اپنے شانوں پر باندھ کر اور عورتوں سے کہہ دیا جاتا تھا کہ جب تک مرد سیدھے نہ بیٹھ جائیں اپنے سروں کو نہ اٹھانا۔ (کیونکہ مردوں کے پاس ایک ہی کپڑا ہونے کی وجہ سے بےپردگی کا ڈر ہوتا تھا)۔[مختصر صحيح بخاري/حدیث: 237]
