English Translation
Narrated Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him): The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "Two phrases that are beloved to Allah, light upon the tongue, heavy in the scale (in terms of reward), are these: 'Subhan Allahi wa bihamdih, Subhan Allahi al-Azim'—'I declare the purity of Allah the Exalted (from all faults and deficiencies) and I praise and glorify Him. Indeed the Mighty Allah is pure (of all faults and deficiencies).'"
Urdu Translation
سیدنا ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہرسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا:”دو کلمے، جو اللہ کو پیارے ہیں، زبان پر ہلکے ہیں، میزان میں (از روئے ثواب) بھاری ہیں (وہ یہ ہیں) ((سبحان اللہ وبحمدہ، سبحان اللہ العظیم))”میں اللہ تعالیٰ کی (تمام عیوب و نقائص سے) پاکی بیان کرتا ہوں اور اس کی تعریف و تحمید کرتا ہوں۔ بیشک وہ باعظمت اللہ (تمام عیوب و نقائص سے) پاک ہے۔“[مختصر صحيح بخاري/حدیث: 2230]
