English Translation
Narrated Jundub (may Allah be pleased with him): I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) say: "Whoever does good deeds to be seen by people, Allah will expose his concealed (that is, corrupt intention) before people on the Day of Resurrection; and whoever causes hardship to people, Allah will cause hardship to him on the Day of Resurrection." The people said to him, "Give us some more advice." He said: "The first thing in a person's (body) to decay is his stomach; so whoever is able to eat pure (food) should do so (that is, eat only pure, lawful food); and whoever is able to keep himself from being barred from entering Paradise on account of shedding even a handful of (unlawful) blood should do so."
Urdu Translation
سیدنا جندب رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہمیں نے رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمسے سنا آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمفرماتے تھے:”جس نے لوگوں کو سنانے کے لیے نیک اعمال کیے، اللہ اس کے پوشیدہ (یعنی نیت فاسدہ) کو قیامت کے دن لوگوں پر ظاہر کرے گا اور جس نے لوگوں پر مشقت ڈالی تو اللہ قیامت کے دن اس پر مشقت ڈالے گا۔“لوگوں نے ان سے کہا کہ اور کچھ نصیحت فرمائیے تو انھوں نے کہا:”انسان (کے بدن) میں سے سب سے پہلے جو چیز سڑتی ہے وہ اس کا پیٹ ہے پس جو شخص پاکیزہ چیز کھانے کی طاقت رکھے وہ ایسا ہی کرے (یعنی پاکیزہ حلال چیز ہی کھائے) اور جس سے ہو سکے وہ چلو بھر (ناحق) خون بہا کر، اپنے آپ کو جنت میں جانے سے نہ روکے۔“[مختصر صحيح بخاري/حدیث: 2203]
