English Translation
Narrated Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him): The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "May Allah the Exalted curse the thief; the wretch steals an egg and his hand is cut off, and he steals a rope and his hand is also cut off."
Urdu Translation
سیدنا ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہنبی کریمصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا:”اللہ تعالیٰ چور پر لعنت کرے (کم بخت) انڈا چراتا ہے تو اس کا ہاتھ کاٹا جاتا ہے اور رسی چراتا ہے تو بھی اس کا ہاتھ کاٹا جاتا ہے۔“[مختصر صحيح بخاري/حدیث: 2162]
