English Translation
Narrated Imran ibn Husayn (may Allah be pleased with him): A man said, "O Messenger of Allah! Have the people of the Fire already been distinguished from the people of Paradise?" The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "Yes, indeed." He said, "Then why do those who do deeds do deeds?" The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "Every person does that for which he has been created."
Urdu Translation
سیدنا عمران بن حصین رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہایک شخص نے عرض کی کہ یا رسول اللہ! کیا دوزخی جنتیوں میں سے پہچانے جا چکے ہیں؟ نبی کریمصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا:”ہاں، بیشک۔“اس نے کہا کہ پھر عمل کرنے والے عمل کیوں کرتے ہیں؟ نبی کریمصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا:”ہر شخص اس کے واسطے عمل کرتا ہے جس کے واسطے وہ پیدا کیا گیا ہے۔“[مختصر صحيح بخاري/حدیث: 2137]
